All good thing must come to an end!

Sadly, tonight is our last night in Ireland....We've traveled from the Cliffs of Moher, Dingle, Ring of Kerry, Killarney, Kilkenny to our final stop in Dublin.  We've met so many nice people during our travels and I believe all the ladies had a nice time.  A special shout-out to my newly adopted family, the Fynes! I love "me new bruthers & da sista".  Thanks for the great memories!  See ya at the pub!!

If anyone would like to post any of the stories from our trip please do so!  I'll do my best to add as many photos at possible!!

Enjoy!

We've Arrived!!!!

The group of 33 ladies from the Bayside Quilters Guild left Easton, Md around 10:30am Wednesday and arrived on the shores of the Emerald Isle at 5:20am Ireland Timem Thursday, Sept 22nd.  The journey to JFK -> Shannon wasnt as long or as painful as we thought.

Upon landing at Shannon International Airport we were greeted by Paul our Tour Guide/Driver.  After he handled all the luggage we made a quick stop at our hotel (The Temple Gate Hotel in Ennis) and dropped off the luggage so it would be waiting for us when we were done touring for the day.
The next stop was the Cliffs of Moher....What amazing views!  Even in the cloudy weather it is an awsome site to behold....

After the cliffs we proceeded to the Buren Centre to get a little overview about another historical site.  After the Burren Centre we stopped by the Kilfenora Cathedral....

Then onto the last site of the day the Poulnabrone Dolman.  At this time the time differences had caught up and many were fading fast.

So it was back to the Temple Gte Hotel for some rest before dinner at the hotel...
